Wellington Swords Fencing Club

The club will initially lend beginners equipment. After 6 months you are expected to start purchasing your own. Start with a glove, underplaston, weapon. Club members may order equipment through the club (wellingtonswords@gmail.com) which benefits the club, saves you the cost of postage and sometimes works out a little cheaper. Prices vary according to supplier. Each suppliers garments have a slightly different fit so actual cost will be determined by best-fit garment. Equipment excluding fencing masks is handed ie. right or left handed. Prices are guidelines. Wellington Swords offers a club discount of 5 % which usually covers the cost of shared postage. Non Wellington Swords club members are most welcome to order via the club – price will be list price plus share of postage. The advantage is that there is no charge for returned goods as we will put them into club stock.
