About the Coaches
We have 4 Club coaches at Wellington Swords fencing club, and a number of very experienced fencers who assist.
All our coaches are registered with England Fencing and have British Fencing Association insurance, basic first aid certicicates and Enhanced CRB clearance (BFA)
George Felletar
George Felletar is head coach here at Wellington Swords.He is a BFA Coach, Educator and Assessor. He runs coaching courses in line with the Hungarian system of excellence.
He recently won the Devon Sports Performance Coach of the year award 2010 and has been nominated for the BBC South West Sports Coach of the Year Award.
Ben Hodgson
Ben Hodgson is a BFA Level 2 (British Fencing Association) qualified coach, with over 10 years experience of the sport and 3 years of hands-on coaching experience
our other fencing coaches are Matt Mackenzie and Margaret Myers
