Just for a change here is a little foil action from YouTube of Richard Kruse winning the Singapore Masters, beating Cassara in the final.
Speaking of change if you havent already seen the updated BFA website do head over and have a look and also let them know what you think. The plan is eventually to be able to manage your membership through it as well as enter all competitions online.
Closer to home dont forget to check out the changes in training times and get in some Summer Fencing or failing that ensure you go somewhere nice and come back with a tan that will make the rest of us jealous.
About Us
Wellington Swords are a large and friendly fencing club for all ages specialising in foil and epee.We are based at the Princess Royal Sports center in Wellington, Somerset and train throughout the week with a professional Hungarian fencing coach. We fence and participate at all levels.
As well as our weekly training sessions we run several beginners courses throughout the year.We have also a full schedule of both competitive and friendly fixtures and numerous social activities.
The emphasis is on enjoyment and self improvement even though we do remarkably well in competition at both national and international level.
Coaches and club staff are all CSB trained and registered.
We always welcome new members. So if you are an old hand returning to the sport or have never picked up a sword before you will be made equally welcome.
Why not get in contact either through the enquiry form on this site or by giving one of the committee a call to discuss how you can get into this exciting and dynamic sport.
If you want to see all the club and competition action as it occurred this is the place to visit
